Hello Hello
This work rolls on. Let me tell you, investigators right and left, people to teach EVERYWHERE. Also, I'm pumped for big Mitt. hope he does well. And Someone tell Kaitlin Davies and Katelyn Smith and Joseph Wadsworth ¡¡¡Felicitaciones!!!! Im so exited for you guys, the mission is the ........ best!!! ¡lo maximo!
This week we are worrying and praying for a couple investigators. Franco, should be getting baptized this week, but he still has those dopey friends that think its the bees´ knees or something to smoke. It´s not. its the bees knees to read your scriptures. But we have another, Antoni, with whom we had an awesome prayer this week. he asked us if he could give the closing prayer, to which we said yes obviously, and he prayed for forgiveness that he didn't go to church yesterday. Also he prayed that he can continue to prepare himself to be baptized this month!! how awesome. this kid told us in the first lesson that he didn't really believe in god. now he does. The church is troooooouue!!
Something I learned in the BOM this week.
Oh by the way I finished the book of Mormon for the 5 time in my life, and the second time in my mission, and I love it again!! It really brings me so much peace, comfort, knowledge, and fulfillment in my missionary life right now. I love the book with all my heart, and I testify to you guys that I do know of its truthfulness. But now I've read the Book Of Mormon more times than I've read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, so I guess thats a long time coming. figured I should know more about the teachings of the prophet Alma the younger, than I know about the tri-wizard tournament. And I know a lot about the tri-wizard tournament. So this is good, I'm learning the right things now.
But something I love is written in the final testimony of our beloved first Nephi. He says something I would love all of you to find. I believe its found in the final chapter of second Nephi, cant remember for sure, I only remember his words
He simply said, ´I glory in plainness, I glory in truth, I glory in my Jesus, for he hath redeemed my soul from hell´
How sweet is that statement. I would like to share my testimony, that I glory in my Jesus, who is yours as well, and who has already redeemed us all from the evils of hell if we will but turn his way, and come unto him. As a representative of Jesus Christ, I tell you I know that he lives, and is waiting this very second for all of you, even those of you who feel unworthy, to turn to him and find the joy and peace that is included in repentance. I exhort you to change your life for the better in some way. I love you all, but whats more important is that he loves you all. Please read the word of God. Please be happy, please pray for love for each other, and please go on missions. In his name, even Jesus Christ, Amen.
