January 7, 2013 A dog named Bobby

okay.

So this week was wild.

First of all, the next coming transfer, is only four weeks long. Because there are so many missionaries in the mtc in lima, they are sending some early and cutting the transfer short, worldwide I think. So yeah my mission is now two weeks shorter. not a full two years. I feel robbed, but thats ok I will get another two weeks of summer!!

THis week, we met a couple that I think are going to be a great couple and going to get baptized very soon. They tell us that they want to learn about the book of mormon, and the church, and the man asked (is it ok if I only go to church on sundays? I only have time on sundays... )  I answered yes that is fine. This couple was a gift from god, and an answer to a very fervoroso ayuno (a fervant fast).

There is a dog named bobby(we named him bobby). and actually, he lives arriba in the area and its way funny because he finds us all the time when we go up there, and follows us everywhere, into lessons and around the streets. its way funny because we got into a house, and were teaching a brand new family, and I look down and there is bobby, sleeping under my chair.  It was crazy.

I don't have a ton more to say. Today were going to a glacier, and we are going to see snow. and I am very happy. I will send pictures next week.

Hey we just got the conference edition Liahona, with all the talks!! so pumped I am!! and I havent gotten to read Elder Hollands talk yet, but believe me it will be read many times before wednesday comes. But I did read the talk by Elder Cook!! Read it, and reconvert yourself to the gospel. There are some very well created questions, given through a prophet named Alma and by the h.g. in Alma 5. READ IT.

Also, I love the gospel. I love missionary work. It is so darn tiring, I don't know how my body survives endless weeks of endless days, arriving in the room late at night (late is 9 thirty) so unbelievably exhausted and planning just a little more for the next, equally exhausting day to come . Love it.

Love you all
