Merry Christmas!!!!!
¡¡¡¡¡¡Feliz Navidad!!!!
Wow this week was very crazy and stressful and rewarding.
Here's the gist
a nuevo, or new investigador, is someone we have taught once, and then set another lesson with them for the future.
So we were very stressed and pressed to find new investigadors, because Ayacucho is I think the best or second best zone in the mission in most areas. (not to brag. It is because we expect a ton from ourselves, we are all obedient, and the people are awesome here) so we needed the 7 that is the weekly mission goal, which we didn't have yet...
Saturday, we found two. but still needed more. And I have the zone leaders and my district leader (all friends, I love them all very much) calling me all the time verifying and asking me about all the data and such, because everyone is a little worried I think that we have a gringo training as early as is possibly. (trust me I am just as worried)
Anyway, my comp and I learned something of faith. WE have been praying and praying, and literally doing everything we could think of to get nuevos. We have been talking with at least twenty people every day in the streets, and knocking all kinds of doors, and no one lets us in.
Finally, after the trial of our faith, (which I believe was that we simply did not stop trying, all the while exercising much faith and hope), we found SEVEN INVESTIGADORS YESTERDAY!! It was the best. Everyone was outside just chatting in front of their houses (typical for sunday, but I think more for la navidad) and we talked without fear to a bunch of people, and it was fantastic. WE feel the love of the lord, and the frutos de la fe.
Feliz Navidad to all this christmasy, but not snowy season in Ayacucho!! I love you all. Thank you mom for the package, it is lo màximo! and thank you all for the support, prayers, and love.
I know the Savior lives, and I am utterly and absolutely honored to be his servant, during the period in which we all honor his birth. I love Jesus my Savior, and I will always be his soldier.
Mucho amor, de un orgulloso soldado de Cristo.
