January 14, 2013 A giant hill called Bethlehem

ok real quick the craziness.

I had an split with an Elder Fernandez, who is actually a really good friend, and who is going to finish his mission in two months. We went to his area, which is a giant hill called Belèn (Bethlehem) and there is a ton of poor people who live in there crazy little houses suspended on the edges of dangerous precipes. So we get going in the day, and i had determined to go crazy with new investigadors (a nuevo, is an investigador that you teach a principle or scripture to, and then set another appointment) and we went nuts. We talked to like every body in the world, and got 9 nuevos in one day!! that is actually crazy and so i was pumped about that. Also, e Fernandez speaks awesome english so its always fun to help him practice.

Oh yeah we went to Razuhuilca on monday, and it was actually awesome. very very beautiful, and very green, and very cold. two hours by car, way high up in the mountain. way pretty, and it looked just like lord of the rings. way up there, and there were llamas!!! I honestly felt closer to God way up in the naturaleza.

So it rains a ton all the time. In the morning, like always, it is crazy crazy hot and muggy. then at 6 30 in the night, the rain comes and saturday, it poured like crazy!!! literally rivers running down the streets. way awesome. 

Also, I forgot to say that last week I finally ate cuy (guinea pig) and also lengua de vaca (not super delicious).

   `I honestly don't expect anything from god. I have healthy children and that is enough`

how awesome no? these people have so very little, and yet they have so very much (what? backwards day? no. the mission)

Spirituality. 

in alma 17 to 19 (Ammon and Lamoni) I learned a little bit more about faith, about knowledge, and about teaching the gospel. and `making it known unto them.`  not saying or telling anything. read more to find out!!! gasp wow!!!!
